Website and Quotation Terms
These terms explain how our website works and how our quotations work, in plain language. Please read them before you ask for a quote or book a move.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the Al Mizan Movers website and to quotations you request from us. By using the site or asking for a quote, you agree to them. Your written quotation may include further details about your specific move. If it differs from these terms, the written quotation applies to your move.
Using the website
Our website gives general information about our moving and packing services. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but the content is for general guidance and may change. Our articles and tips do not replace advice from your building management, landlord or a professional adviser.
- Please use the site lawfully and do not try to disrupt it or gain unauthorised access.
- Please send only true information and files that you have the right to share.
- The content on this site belongs to us or our licensors. Please do not copy it for commercial use without permission.
Quotes are estimates
A quote is an estimate based on the information you give us, including your item list, photos, addresses, floors, access and date. The more complete the information, the more reliable the estimate. A form enquiry or a chat message does not by itself create a booking.
The written quotation sets the scope
The final scope of work is confirmed in the written quotation. This sets out what we have agreed to do for your move. Please read it carefully and ask us about anything that is unclear before you accept it. Work not included in the written quotation is not part of the agreed scope unless we both agree to add it.
Changes and cancellations
Moves change. Please tell us as early as possible if the date, addresses, items or access change. Changes may affect the plan, timing or price, and changes and cancellations are handled as agreed in your quotation.
Building permits and access
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you are responsible for arranging building and community permits, service-lift bookings and access at both addresses. Please check the requirements with your building management or landlord in good time. Any delay or restriction caused by access or permit issues may affect the plan for the day.
Valuables and personal items
We ask you to keep cash, jewellery, important documents, medicine and other valuable or irreplaceable items with you during the move. If you need us to handle a special item, please tell us before the move so that it can be discussed and agreed in the quotation.
What we ask of you
- Give us accurate and complete information about the move.
- Tell us about fragile, unusually heavy or high-value items in advance.
- Make sure you have the right to move the items you ask us to move.
- Be present, or have someone you trust present, at the agreed times.
Our responsibility
The services we provide and our responsibilities for your move are as set out in your written quotation and as required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits any right that cannot be limited under UAE law. We are not responsible for the content or availability of third-party websites or services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If a disagreement arises, please contact us first, as most problems are solved by talking them through. Any dispute that cannot be resolved this way will be handled by the competent courts in the UAE.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page. Your written quotation remains based on what was agreed with you.
