Villa Moving in Dubai & the UAE

Villa Moving in Dubai & the UAE

Five Bedrooms, One Garage, No Drama

A villa is not a big flat. It has stairs, a majlis full of heavy seating, a garden with opinions and a storeroom hiding things from three moves ago. We plan for all of it before the first box is filled.

What you get

  • Walkthrough covers roof, garage and storeroom
  • Staircase routes planned, walls protected
  • Majlis and marble pieces handled separately
  • Garden and outdoor furniture included
  • Community gate rules planned for early

A villa moves in layers

The trick with a villa is the order of work. Start in the wrong place and you end up with boxes blocking the only staircase while a wardrobe waits on the landing. We usually work from the top down. Upper floors and bedrooms are cleared first, then the living areas, then the kitchen, and finally the outdoor spaces that collect dust and sand.

Before the truck is loaded, we walk the property with you, room by room. That includes the places people forget to mention: the roof storage, the driver's room, the outdoor kitchen, the shed behind the air-conditioning units. It is better to discover the treadmill on the roof now than at four in the afternoon.

The heavy, awkward and oddly shaped

Villas collect furniture that no flat could hold. A long majlis set. A marble dining table. A king-size bed with a carved headboard that came up the stairs before the banister was fitted. Each piece gets its own decision: take it apart, wrap it whole, or plan the route with care. Staircase turns are measured, walls and banisters protected, and big items are carried by enough people to do it calmly.

  • Majlis seating: cushions bagged, frames wrapped, rugs rolled with care.
  • Marble and glass tops: separated from their bases and carried upright with edge protection.
  • Large wardrobes: taken apart, with doors and fittings labelled for the rebuild.
  • Outdoor pieces: swings, grills, trampolines and garden furniture, cleaned of the worst of the sand by you and wrapped by us.

Community rules and summer planning

Gated communities often have their own requirements for trucks and gate access, and some set limits on working times. Check with your community management and tell us what they say, so the truck is not stuck arguing with a security guard while the crew waits. In summer, we try to do the heavy outdoor loading early, for the crew's sake and for your candles and wooden furniture too.

Moving into the next villa, or downsizing

Plenty of villa moves are also life changes. The children have left, or the family has grown, or you are finally moving closer to work. If not everything is coming along, tell us early. Mark what goes, what stays and what you are still arguing about. We will rebuild the beds and wardrobes at the other end, place furniture where you want it, and take a breath with you when the last box lands. Moves between Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain or anywhere else in the country are all part of the job.

Questions about this service

Do you need to see the villa before quoting?

For a villa, a walkthrough or a good video tour helps a lot, because there is always more than people remember. It also lets us plan the stairs and truck access properly.

Can you move our garden furniture and swing?

Yes. Just include them in your list so we bring the right tools and materials. Anything fixed into the ground should be discussed first, so we can tell you honestly what is possible.

Do gated communities need any special arrangement?

Often they do, such as gate access for the truck or set working times. Check with your community management in advance and share the details, and we will plan around them.
